When he refuses, Elenora becomes the competition across the street. Is this town big enough for the two of them? Miles can’t help but stick his well-polished boot in his mouth whenever he comes face-to-face with Elenora. Can he find a way to win her heart while destroying her business? Miles’s mother, Maude, is bent on Elenora becoming her new daughter-in-law while Elenora’s daughter, Tildy, thinks Miles would make a perfect papa. How far will these meddlers go to unite this enterprising pair?

Liz lives in Minnesota with her cradle-robbing husband and a border collie that inspired the character Dug “Squirrel!” the Dog in the Disney movie UP. After working as a newspaper journalist and magazine editor, and raising an equine veterinarian daughter and a talented musician son, Liz entered RWA’s Golden Heart® contest in 2010 with, The Rancher and the Rock Star, then titled Songbird, and won the Single Title Contemporary category. In her spare time, she loves to hike, quilt, read, horseback ride, and play with her nearly twenty four-legged grandchildren.

Hi, I’m Pam and I’m addicted to category romance. Probably because I’m living one.

My husband and I had a cute meet in high school and married a few years later. We carefully planned our first child while he was still in college–and had twins! More kids joined the family in various ways. Life and kids added both the internal and the external conflict, but we’re still crazy in love and still enjoy living together. We live in the town where we were born and raised. I’m part of a group of high school friends who have dinner several times a year and who plan the reunion every 5 years. I told you, it’s a category romance. <g>

I’m a long-time member of RWA, Central Ohio Fiction Writers, and a variety of additional chapters along the way. I’m grateful for the wealth of market and craft information, and even more grateful for the enduring friendships. I’ve had very good luck in the Golden Heart contest, but I haven’t done so well at sending in my work, a major goal for 2012.

Katrina Snow was a 2010 Golden Heart® finalist with a Renaissance-era paranormal romance, and she also writes contemporary and Regency tales. While this is her first experience serving as a board member, she has been an active participant in the New York City chapter and has eagerly attended every national RWA conference since she learned of them in 2007.

When she’s not writing or earning her keep as a busy executive assistant, Katrina enjoys traveling around the world and across town, snapping interesting photos, and reading witty novels—steamy ones too. In addition to her creative endeavors, her loves in life include family, friends, her two neurotic cats, tall black boots and dangly earrings, cabs on rainy days, wickedly cheesy Italian dishes, and velvety dark chocolate.

Chef Brylie Winston has made some mistakes in her life, but she didn’t think she’d repeat one. She didn’t realize the man whose bed she left this morning after a rare impulsive night of passion was her boss. Worse, he owns the cruise ship where she works, and of course, he’s on board for their trip to Antarctica. And instead of being pissed that she snuck out on him, he seems determined to have a repeat performance.

Marcus Devlin knew his family would make good on their threat to send him to the ends of the earth some day. He didn’t think it would be quite so literal, sticking him on a cruise ship to Antarctica, after his latest scandal. Time for him to learn the family business. Things look up when he spots the gorgeous redhead from last night.

If he thought it would be smooth sailing, he was sadly mistaken.
